Good game design should be rewarded. Bad game design should be mocked. There’s plenty of the former, but it’s about time the latter got the bollocking it deserved.
This site aims to contribute to that lofty goal. It will be entirely, remorselessly, unceasingly negative, and dedicated to nit-picking at mistakes that we hope will stop being made. And although I suppose that’s sort of a positive aim – we’re hoping to prompt the removal of the bad to improve the whole – we’ll try not to let that glimmer of optimism shine through. Bitter and snarky, that’s the tone we’ll be adopting.
If a game’s on here, it’s because it’s pissed us off. Why should we be nice to it?
